Easy, simple homemade pom-poms using only two materials.
Total Number of Pom-Poms: 30
Craft Time: 35 minutes
First take a string of yarn and cut off about 5-6 inches. Save this because you will use this to tie your pom pom together.
Then take your index, middle, and ring finger and form a “ number 3” together, facing you.
Take the start of the yarn and place it at the end of your ring finger:
Then wrap it around your finger for 30 times. Make sure it is not wrapped too tightly but just right. If you want it thicker, wrap it 10-20 more times, thinner 5-10 fewer times.
Once it is wrapped, cut off the yarn at the end the place the string that was originally saved and place it in the middle of the wrapped yarn.
Slowly slide the yarn off your fingers until it has come off. Be sure to not let the yarn go loose and lose its shape.
Then take the string and double knot it around the other side of the yarn.
Take your scissor and cut off the loops at each end.
If you don’t like it being too frilly, then cut off a centimeter off from the edge. In other words, take your scissor, mark where a centimeter to the edge is, then cut a circle off from it.
Fluff the pom pom and there it is!
