How’s your week been so far? I’ve been busy with cooking and testing recipes because I’m leaving for vacation soon. It’s also been kind of stressful because I procrastinated on some homework (shhh it’s a secret) so I need to make video quickly that’s due tomorrow.

Oh and yes it’s been very hot right? Especially here on the east coast it’s been scorching hot that we had a half day at school. Right now I’m watching the latest Running Man episode where the five members went to a haunted house in Japan. Though I do feel bad for them and the house looks insanely scary, the members still make it entertaining and lively. If you don’t know what Running Man is, it’s a Korean variety show where there are 8 members who play games and have challenges. It seriously will make your day brighter because everyone is so funny and entertaining. However it was amazing how all of them had the courage to go in and out while finding their name tags. (No this is not sponsored but it’s one of my all time favorite shows since the beginning it started.)

Anyways besides talking about one of my most favorite shows ever, let’s talk about one of my favorite go to dishes that I like to eat when I’m lazy to cook. Rice! Well, fried rice.

Rice is a staple in any Asian household. But fried rice is just another step higher than plain rice.

No, let’s take it a thousand steps higher. Fried rice makes rice a million times more delicious because of the delicious and fragrant flavors infused by the sauces. From basic salt to soy sauce, fish sauce, and oyster sauce, these ingredients make everything taste amazing which is why it’s called seasoned fried rice. Honestly, there were so many flavors that I couldn’t think of any name besides seasoned. So hope you enjoy!

In a separate bowl, mix in the sauce ingredients: sesame oil, fish sauce, lemon juice, hondashi, salt, and black pepper. You can also just add in these ingredients separately as you fry the rice to get the most of the flavor.

Then in a pan, pour in the avocado oil and turn the stove on medium to low heat. Once the oil is ready, pour in the rice and mix it up for 20 seconds. Then pour in the egg and stir until the egg is nicely scrambled.

Add in the rest of the ingredients. Stir until well combined.

After everything is done cooking, serve in a bowl and garnish with some cilantro and black or lemon pepper. Enjoy!
