Happy Independance Day! Let’s celebrate with some healthy desserts, like this strawberry and blueberry sorbet! This recipe was inspired by BuzzFeed except instead of using honey I used maple syrup to keep it vegan.

So since July 4th is here, I decided to use strawberries and blueberries. Strawberries for the red and blueberries for the blue stars. Well for white… let’s just leave it to the clear plan that when frozen gives a light “white” effect (or your imagination).

What do you usually do for July 4th? I usually go out to eat with my family (like usual holidays are an excuse to go out and eat and to cheat on your diet hehe) or go to the beach and chill with my friends. This year I stayed at home, worked on some math (boring I know and why if on summer vacation right??), and read. I haven’t read in ages and recently picked up a book so I am grateful I have time to read again. Also, last but not least, super thankful for those who fought for independence and keep this country free. Happy Holidays!
