A sweet spin on classic peanut butter cups – peanut butter dough with crunchy peanuts covered with delicious chocolate!
Chocolate + peanut butter = love. They are one of my most favorite combinations of sweets. Chocolate lovers out there – what’s your favorite type of chocolate or combination of chocolate? Mine is dark chocolate with either raspberry, mint, or coffee fillings (well also, of course, peanut butter!… you can’t forget peanut butter right?). The dark chocolate gives a nice contrast to the sweetness to the filling because of the bitter taste. The best is when the shell or outer coating of the chocolate is hard and crunchy but the inside is nice, soft, and creamy. The creaminess of the filling is a nice surprise after biting a hard piece of chocolate.

Since childhood, I’ve always LOVED peanut butter and chocolate in any form of food. From those delicious Reese’s peanut butter cups to peanut butter blossoms with chocolate kisses (SOOOOO GOOOD!!!!! shoutout to my old tutor Linda for introducing, well ahem making me them!), I have been obsessed with peanut butter… just talking about this makes me drool lol…
