Crunchy cauliflower crisps with flaxseed topped with melted cheese and avocado green spread.
Cauliflower crisps? Is it like cauliflower pizza, a trend that blew up a couple years ago and now is resurfacing because Trader Joe’s just came out with a new pizza? As you may be wondering, it is but in a certain way it’s different because it’s a crisp not a soft pizza.
Flaky, gluten-free crust filled with sweet cream cheese and tart blackberries.
Tarts are flaky, crusty, and best of all buttery. The delicate crust that falls apart and leaves a crummy mess everywhere after the first bite is totally worth the aftermath. It may make a mess, but the sweet decadent flavors of the filling will surely make you be forgiving of possibly, your food-filled hair, oily stained clothes, and most importantly, a pile of crumbs scattered everywhere on the floor, waiting for ants to come hunt them down.
Classic hummus – a wonderful snack that can be used as a dip for chips or a spread for toast.
Hummus has always been one of my most favorite dips/spreads ever. It is so creamy, thick, and delicious! Every time my mom buys hummus from the store, I always dip chips into and eat it as a snack, everyday, until they are gone – in less than a week! However, my mom doesn’t really buy it often – either because I eat too much, too fast, or she just doesn’t want to buy it. Well, I have my own homemade hummus so it doesn’t really matter now, right?
Gluten-free fettuccine drenched in buttery garlic sauce – vegan and allergy-friendly!
Garlic + butter. Such a great combination right? You can do so much with this great couple by making delish unique dishes from classic garlic bread to roasting it in veggies or meat. It may seem simple, but is truly a masterpiece flavor in any meal.
Glitter tip nails – simple, easy, and sparkly.
I usually don’t put on nail polish, but only for important and formal events. Since tomorrow is prom, instead of going to the salon and getting my nails done, I decided to save some money and paint my own nails! Since the color of my dress is light grey with a little tint of lavender, I painted my nails with a light gray and lavender color. The colors I used were Essie’s between the seats (light lilac grey) and nice is nice (light lavender). This post is not sponsored by Essie.
Simple vegan 4-ingredient peanut butter cookies – full of yummy crunchy peanuts and creamy goodness.
Continuing from last week’s post of the vegan crunchy peanut butter dough chocolate cups, I decided to use some of that dough I made an turn it into a cookie! It may seem simple, but here’s what actually happened.
A sweet spin on classic peanut butter cups – peanut butter dough with crunchy peanuts covered with delicious chocolate!
Chocolate + peanut butter = love. They are one of my most favorite combinations of sweets. Chocolate lovers out there – what’s your favorite type of chocolate or combination of chocolate? Mine is dark chocolate with either raspberry, mint, or coffee fillings (well also, of course, peanut butter!… you can’t forget peanut butter right?). The dark chocolate gives a nice contrast to the sweetness to the filling because of the bitter taste. The best is when the shell or outer coating of the chocolate is hard and crunchy but the inside is nice, soft, and creamy. The creaminess of the filling is a nice surprise after biting a hard piece of chocolate.
A fun and beautiful Mother’s Day canvas art project with lots of heartfelt messages and thank you’s.
Mother’s Day is coming up in a few days so it’s time to get creative and surprise your mom with this beautiful canvas message art!
My family never really celebrates any holidays, so the most we do is just eat out whenever a holiday comes by. I mean, it is a perfect excuse to eat out right?
Garlicky and spicy sweet potato fries – a great snack with a spicy kick and a hint of garlic.
Do you like sweet potatoes or even yellow or purple yams? Honestly, I am not a fan of sweet potatoes (those orange ones) but I LOVE yellow and purple yams. These potatoes and yams have always been a snack in my house because my mom buys them all the time. They are super delicious, sweet, and healthy – it also has lots of fiber, potassium, and vitamin C which means a stronger immunity!

Have you ever tried chia or love chia? The first time I tried chia was a few years ago when my mom found out there were reaping health benefits from eating it. She said chia was high in fiber, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids, just to name a few. She always poured it in a glass of water with lemons, let it sit for a few hours until all the seeds swelled up and told me to drink it up quickly.
